About us
Research about Black health should not be this hard to find
Why BCRP exists
Research relevant to Black patients and communities is scattered across journals and written for experts. The Black Clinical Research Project brings it into one searchable directory and makes dense studies easier to read without overstating what they found.
The four-question method
Every study in the directory is broken down into the same four questions.
- What did they want to find out?
- Where and how was the study carried out?
- What did they find?
- What are the limitations?
How studies are reviewed
Every study is read and summarised by a person before it is published here.
